So excited for this mth! So happening!

There's High tea and Cafren's bdae celebration (the 2 half days i've wasted, 1 food poisoning and another hangover), not forgetting Nafa yr 2 gathering and finally my bdae is coming.. Though this yr's present are already been pre-discussed but i like the present very much. Presents haven't arrived in my hands yet but im so excited anticipating them to come. When A told me this piece of gd news, my heart sung.
Are we going to use "that way" again? Not surprising, yet another disappointment.
Why? The reasons go on and on.

The feeling is different when i was promoted to JAD back then.. it was totally different because i could feel the appreciation but not this time round. Shouldn't you make it official?

I had a chat with my good colleague, rather a friend in the company whom we often share views together. She was knocking some senses into me on our way home and i was like.. awaken by it. I think it's time to do something. I can't let him take advantage of me all the time just because i'm easy going? (Not that kind of advantage u r thinking of, btw he's a gay). He is just taking me for granted and i think i need to stop this.

I know some ppl are just waiting for things to happen. Waiting for me to be the scapegoat, to be the 1st to walk into the Tiger's cave. And the Tiger is too afraid of us and so he always ordered his subordinates to tell us. This pig (i think he's born in the yr of a pig) is always hiding behind the entrance, rather hiding behind me as well. Why are you always "pulling my back legs" (literally translated from chinese saying and it sounds funny). If i don't go in, when will i be able to stop this? It can go on and on.

We've worked out a good strategy to achieve what i want. Not in a bad way..i know it sounds like i'm habouring some evil thoughts but trust me, it's not.. i'm just trying to get the benefits i deserve.

While tweeting just now, i can feel my heart throbbing.
I think tmr is gonna be even worst.. would be equivalent to my Traffic Police test.
Wish me luck, im gonna be nervous.

I wouldn't say it's a COMFORT zone because its not like i'm taking lots of money and doing nothing in the office. Hell NO!

I just felt that i'm not ready to see the world.. a place that i am really on my own. A place where they just give you a project/pitch and u are left to do alone together with just a copywriter. A total mind xxxx. Can i really live up to my own expectations or rather from the new boss? I wouldn't dare to take the risk to move to somewhere where i have 10-20% of confidence and i should say i'm lack of the courage and i'm not ready to move my cheese.

When one day i feel like.. ok i think i can handle this, alone, well i'm confident enough to achieve something out from there..well, then it's time to move on.

June has left the company after working for 23 yrs. What gave her the courage? To leave somewhere where she has grown up since 20 yrs old. She has gone through days when she was still a young girl to a young adult.. and getting married and now has 2 kids in secondary schs. I can really admire her courage for stepping out of her zone. Many have felt it was incredible and unbelievable and i believe boss was least expecting it to happen but well, it happened. She said the other side really offered her quite a big and that was really an eye opener.. literally. If the offer was not so great, i wouldn't think she will jump.

When i think it's the right time.. i would do the same. Don't wanna jump to something where i have less confidence in.. And when i'm ready, i make sure it's the right choice and i won't regret it.

Never regret in my life and don't wish to.

I was once an ignorant young woman who doesn't seems interested in issues like politics.. news etc. As long as it doesn't affects me.. nah i'm not interested. I'm not going to listen to anyone telling me how bad LKY and on and on. I'm bad in Maths and i'm sure most of the creatives are as well. I'm not good in Geography at all. I always have an excuse saying that i don take Geography for my O levels. "Didn't everyone take geography during lower sec?" Yes i do, a guilty smile i gave them. When ppl start talking to me about countries.. i donno a single shit. It's not about knowing individual countries but knowing the states in a country. With little general knowledge, i seemed like another young singaporean who only knows how to watch dramas and talks about branded stuff and not know what was happening around. Erm.. i do noe a bit of IT stuff if i were to squeeze in another plus point to my knowledge. I'm sure many singaporean girls are like me.

After that, my colleague who is sitting beside me pasted a world map on the wall just behind me. So every time when i wanna check out the countries/states i can go have a look and rmb them. Sometimes they would test me too! It's just too bad that i couldn't rmb some. But as time goes by.. i start to rmb some.. i hope i did. Paris in France? London in UK? San francisco part of USA? (reconfirming by looking at the world map fr google). They have actually asked a few female colleagues of my age and they are quite pathetic like me. Except some girls who actually has a globe at home that they could refer to? Or more educated parents who taught them at home? Maybe they are really interested in such things? Maybe these doesn't come across to be important for me. Maybe if i were to travel around Europe, it would be a better way to learn this fast. I've covered most of the well-known asian countries and it makes me understand them better.
Ok enough of geography... that's not the point.

I started reading yahoo news every morning when i stepped into the office because of the peer pressure that my older colleagues are giving me, saying i shld read more and be more aware of things happening. Creatives need MORE general knowledge than other ppl. I could only say..ya if u ask me things abt present situation i might noe a little more than some history/geography related stuff? The guys always tune in to Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, History Channel and NEWS. So that's the difference between the younger women and the older men. Our interests are diff at the beginning. Why did i choose to read yahoo news instead of Straits times online? Yahoo news are summarised, less dry, more casual, more entertainment news and i find it really amusing by reading the threads and comments below. And those are the real voices from singaporeans. After reading so much of it.. i started to realise that.. how am I, as a young singaporean gonna survive in my nx 10 yrs? Rising costs for HDB was one of the factors that hit me straight.

Ppl around me are getting married and suddenly i just feel like checking out the prices and layouts of the new BTO flats. Looking at the prices and hearing the money my frens had to fork out.. make my jaw dropped. Holding a calculator, calculating the 5% cash deposit/down payment they have to fork out initially, set my fingers numbed. Senior telling me...after adding all the interest etc., you are actually paying double of the original price! I chose not to believe it and asked my fren to continue the conversation. After calculating.. it was ard $700k compared to the original of $472k with 30 yrs of HDB loan. She has to borrow 5% ($23k) from her parents for the down payment and i heard she may be able to get it back after deducting from her cpf or sth like that, kinda forgotten abt it. She's getting a DBSS. Their CPF account are empty now! She told me since it's a DBSS, she will have to pay ard few hundreds gradually and eventually $1.6k a mth for max in future. She's 24 yrs old so by the time she pays off the loan.. she's already 54 yrs old. She needs to save a lot because CPF is empty and she needs to continue working till 60-65 yrs old before retirement.

Facebook as well as other social medias really plays a big part in this coming election. I have to vote this year and so i'm no longer apathetic abt sg situation. I have to read through the stuff in order for me to vote wisely. Slowly it became an addiction. Watching videos from fren's wall and sharing them across. Not only from my friends but also stuff fr other netizens fr fan pages. My wall was flooded with politics everyday. Nicole seah played a big part by politically awakening me. Speaking from a perspective of a 24 yr old.. truely voices what we, the gen y feels. That is why, she has so many supporters.

Few more days to the general election and i hope opposition parties can gain more seats in the parliament. I'm not concerned abt having fresh painted walls for my block but a voice to be heard in the parliament.

It has been decades since i last logged in. And i tend to repeat this every 6 mths? or a year?

Hmm.. i have been thinking a lot. Time to revamp my blog? An entire new blog?
And many things for WA. Things are gonna rush a bit. Starting on the logo.. collaterals as well as the web designs.
Rather enthusiastic when you're doing your own things.

These few weeks.. have been waiting for lunch time? Time to go home? Not that there's nothing to do. I have though. But not in the mood and.. TRYING to finish them slowly. What's the rush?

Coroflot is up for.. a mth? Next, that i almost forgotten i need to do up my resume, a good CV. Who knows what will happen?

Feeling pretty down this period of time. Busy is the closest friend of mine recently. Been busy throughout this few weeks. Another 2 friends leaving, though they were not from the creatives, i still feel 舍不得 for them to leave. It's a loss to the company. Hai.. Not only that but many things happened in the office recently. Enough of office politics. Momo getting abit too petty on time keeping. Why don he calculate how late we stayed in the office. Yes official time is 9-6 but when we leave at 6, u don like it.

Asking for opinions yet when u didn't get the answer that u want, u get annoyed. Then don ask for opinions! A sudden urge of changing a new environment but where? how? I don like a sudden change.

Everything seems to be falling apart. And i seriously mean Everything.
I don feel excited for the coming trip. Why?
Because it's still early?
Because it's not a city?
Because I'm too busy?
Or because i've given up?

Jetstar flight was delayed, postponed to 2 hrs later. By the time we reach Rainbow...its already like.. 10-11pm? And Xi men ding still looks pretty crowded on a thursday night. 1st stop, again...went Shilin and bought a couple of accessories for Nom Nom. Quite a few petshops over there.

Went 九份 again(for me), guess my family will like it. The last time we went was at night so shops were closing and we had to rush in to shop around. It looks really happening in the day. There's this woman selling sausages, she would dress up cutely, with a strange hairdo everyday and hangs a board over her neck saying: It's free of charge if u wanna take pic with her" She looks like the older version of 不良笑花的小花.

Next went Taiwan Storyland.

It was damn cold on the 3rd day when we were at Taipei 101.. and it makes it difficult to walk around in the rain. Bad news, i begin to feel uncomfortable that day. No appetite to eat anything.. i might have gotten a cold.

14 Mar (Sun)
2nd last day as well as the last day.. supposed to be going to that hot spring but i wasnt feeling well and it has been pouring these few days so decided to cancel it. We went Dan shuai, Yu ren ma tou.. and the famous temple where sakura flower bloom there.. Beautiful indeed. They look better when u actually look at them closer.. they look kinda cheap from far distance.

With good editing software, editing in split seconds, instant change. It's even faster then using photoshop.. donno how they do it in such precise execution.

Went Marina Sq to catch a movie but unfortunately the shows were not applicable for the GV complimentary pass. Sad..

Focus back to the hot selling UFO catchers. The positions where they always placed the toys are so tempting.. felt so tempted to give it a try.

I like that flat Tiger Rilakkuma.. its flat and its good to hug n keep on my bed. Easy to squeeze in luggage nx time.
It attracted quite a lot of ppl raving about it. This is how it looks like..

It may seems easy to catch but it's damn hard la.. Need concentration, accuration n techniques. People who tried catching it...they managed to catch it in the end but not just once but quite a few rounds. It's addictive because every move looks like it's going to fall anytime.

And this was what i got from another machine.. Just 2 bucks and i caught a Headphone from Audio Technica.

Wen jie already requested for it if i can catch it, i'll give him cos his earphones are spoilt, i didn't expect i would get it tough. So lucky.. but i tried a rounds for the Rilakkuman.. but unfortunately i did not succeed and i didn't wanna spend so much too. It's not worth it since i've gotten my headphones for just 2 dollars. But definately, i'll come back some day to get it again!

Was bitching abt iphone users all these while, saying they were the commoners and i don wish to be one of them.
I was going to get HTC Hero in White but unfortunately when my brother wanted to get it 2 weeks before me, it was already out of stock and they couldn't tell us when the stocks are coming.. well in the end, my brother became 1 of the commoners too since its 100 cheaper than the Hero after deduction of the recontracting or rather a change of subscriber.

2 weeks from then, i started researching... and at last it's my turn to recontract and i ended up in the iPhone clan too.
Not only i entered the lan, so did my my friends.. Sharon, Cafren, Rinn and lastly after me was Vivian. We can enjoy free smsing n talking thru Skype and What'sapp.

Cool.. can save alot of $$ and we can share apps ard.. We've yet to meet up, the whole dinner will be sharing apps ard. Haha
Iphone can make one become anti social, eyes fixed on to their iphones.

Supposed to be a christmas celebration/advance new yr celebration and a farewell dinner for chen bin who is leaving sg to Paris to further his studies on Music. In the end chen bin fell sick on the day before the day we're going to meet.. hai.. Nvm. I've gotten him a present too.

Got Linn a liquid eye liner from Kanebo since she's been asking how to master the fine lining of my eye liner. Get a liquid eye liner with a super thin brush, perfect~ Introduced by Cafren few yrs back, although she's not using it anymore.

Got Tian ming a cup with my personal greetings written on it. A perfect white space to draw n write things. A cup like.no.other haha.. (inspired by SONY)

Got Chen bin a tin of Famous Amos cookies.. since he loves eating so much.. busy eating in the car. So he can bring it to Australia and store all his other biscuits since the tin is so cute.

Linn forgot to get us presents but Tian ming did. He gave me a hand cream from L'Occitane and a gift set of shower gels from Body shop to Linn.

Went the the Youth Flying Club, Sunset Grill to eat their famous Buffalo wings from level 1 - 30.. ranging from the slightly spicy to the hottest spiciest wings. Nearly lost our way when we r going there as well as coming out from that area.. looks so ulu. Went to eat and see the sunset but unfortunately, Mr. Sun didn't turn up due to the rainy weather. Saw the "youths" going there to eat also. Forgot to take pics of the small private planes around. Eating place was rather ulu but since ppl can see sunset from there, i think it's worth it and it's a totally different experience. Ignore the flies~

Lots of lots of food to be finished. For just the 3 of us, a set of 6 buffalo wings (at lvl 1) Grilled sausages (3pcs), Mini burgers (4pcs), pork chops (2pcs) and Dried Fried mushrooms (alot..). Linn was told to be the one who has to finish Chen bin's portion.

These are only the main courses, i forgot to take pics of the dried mushrooms n buffalo wings..

HTC Hero in white

HTC Hero is still within my consideration. Sony ericsson Satio sounds good but its too thick n bulky. Xperia X10 is too big even though it's slim. Xperia X2's review wasn't good. Xperia Rachael is too long for a wait.

The only thing i don like about Hero is the bottom design which has the buttons sticking out. Find it uncomfortable holding it and i can imagine how tiring it would be to control the scroller. Though Android is still better den Windows.. and it's white. Should i get it?

After going KittyLAB, went over to Sitec to purchase my camera.
Costing $419 with 2 free 8GB SD cards, 1 screen protector, 1 mini tripod, 1 free laptop bag and 1 casing. After paying, we still have to queue up a long way to get our products and when it's my turn... RED ran out of stock!

Why am i always so sway?! They said they will call us the nx day whether the stocks r coming.. and there was no news. Maybe because wj's fren was working there so she told us that the stocks can only be collected at FUNAN on WEDNESDAY. SO i have to wait for 5 days! That really irritates me! For paying and yet bring nothing to open when i got home.

Size compared to my ezlink card.. yes it's almost that size.

最近在看桃花小妹。。挺好看的。
超喜欢史朗的性格，（汪东城饰演）。那种不管身边发生的事，敢说出心里的话，很少和女生接触，常露出害羞的表情。起初看到他的新发型，还觉得不是很好看，太短了。可是看了第一集后，才觉得其实很可爱，很单纯，
比起那些神经西西，大喊大叫的角色和造型打扮好多了。

Time for a break after those days working in hell. Its been 2 weeks since i left the office before 9pm.

Went KL for crazy shopping, bought 3 clothes. It's not cheap for the malaysians but its cheap for us. Nice clothes are rather expensive there and the style is different fr SG, got to buy from those ex shops.

Went to dye my hair at this neighbour hood salon.. thought it would be cheap but ended up quite ex.
Went there for retail therapy and now i need relaxation therapy. Felt so tired when i reached SG.

Met up with Cafren den went to her hse to take gigantic Hello kitty head that she bought from Thailand.. 4 times my head.

Things getting worst lately. Does promotion comes with bad luck? Pretty bad luck recently. Last week overlooked quite a few things, mistakes here and there which caused company to lose money. John was on leave on Monday so i have to clear his stuff for him and so "fortunate" to have 2 heavy FAs going out on monday.

Stayed till 11pm for the last FA.. the cheap and big project that he was handling, bloody waste of time and human resources. Printer called to complain about John's file's bleed. Thought everything was fine after sending them all the files until the next day.. when john came back.. casual remark of a strange pic.. thinking something was not right, went to check again.. it's my mistake..MISTAKE NO.1. Quickly resolved it without losing $$. Printer called again...miscommunication blar blar blar...donno sent how many times again. Things were delayed.

Later part of the day... MISTAKE No.2-Didn't double check the images that we've changed. Lost $1400 for a DI without even seeing the 1st draft. Acc director sat down with me n didn't noticed it too. Things bound to go wrong at one go.

Next, another ad came back with proofs so john took over it when he was back. Everything was alright until the real press came out the next day with colour errors.. I know i'm not to blame because i did nothing wrong, everything went out fine after i handed back to john but sway... I am partially involved although the error wasn't from our side. Things related to me seems to go wrong somehow.

Lastly, went press check for another thing and clinton spotted 1 line was not centralised within the page.. need to pay another 100 plus for changing printing plate. MISTAKE NO.3. Felt really bad man..

Alright.. that's really bad enough.. what happened to me?.. all these happened in a week and that's enough for me already. When things go wrong, they go wrong together. John said i might be too tired, i need a rest and maybe because i had an increment so i have to lose some in other ways. What the hell? Things that we handled together seems to be cursed.

Hope bad luck doesn't follows me after last week.

Thanks girls, for giving me such a wonderful birthday eve. Had Dim Sum buffet at Goodwood Park Hotel and everyone was dressed up beautifully for the day. It has quite a nice ambience over there, with a small pool just outside the restaurant.

The girls brought me Chloe perfume.. nice scent~ Although i do sneeze once or twice in the morning after spraying it, it still smells nice.

Vivian left us after the dim sum because she has to rush back and deal with some work stuff and so.. What's for the night? Between Coco Avant Chanel & Kbox.. we finally decided on singing since we can watch that show some other day.

It was meant to be our usual cake surprise but i ruined it when i rushed out to the toilet and saw cafren n rinn were standing outside preparing the candles.. er opps sorry! I was really urgent. Awkward situation and poor sharon was badly scolded for not stopping me from getting out of the room.

Ar ha.. When the needle hits 12, i received couple of birthday smses from friends and the 1st one was.....
Sharon who was sitting beside me yet still sms me at 11.58pm, trying to be 1st har. And Wen jie is the 1st runner up smsing at 11.59pm.

Thinking of going somewhere for supper but in the end we didn't and i ended up starving at home but i was too lazy to cook anything anyway. Thanks girls!

This year i'm going to celebrate my birthday thrice. I am celebrating my birthday with this new group of friends... actually not really new but i don't celebrate with them in the past.. recent years. It's hard to get everyone together ever since we graduated from sec sch. Supposed to be a gathering but we made it on the 28th so that we can celebrate my bdae too.. kill 2 birds with 1 stone, they said.

Date was altered from 29th to 22th and back to 28th again. There is Ai lin, Tian Ming (organiser), Chen bin, Kiat seng and Xue fen. After eating at Astons, we moved to coffee bean at PS.. The 1st cake surprise of the year.. make 2 wishes because i was told to. Asked to reveal out 1 of them.. which is to gain abit more weight... haha yeah i noe... i see the lines of their eyes. And how will my wish come true? Yeah.. i'll have to start eating almost half the cake on my own! "After eating it, u will gain weight for sure, that's your dream right?" Chen bin said. After everyone took their portions, there are still a big piece lying on the plate.

Played Zhong ji mi ma to get rid of the last piece.. Really going to puke man.. plus the cloudy apple juice...eeeuuu so sweet. Ai lin bought me a bag and Tian ming, Chen bin bought me japanese facial products cos i mentioned that my skin lacks of glow but i didn't expect them to buy me that of all things, unpredictable..haha

6.45pm 抵達桃園機場。匆匆忙忙再趕上下一輛公車/客運﹐一小時後才到長虹飯店。

After settled down, went to take their 結運 (MRT). Stopped at 劍潭站 to get to 士林夜市. Tried a couple of small bites there.. 炸雞排 (fried crispy chicken), 紅油抄手 (wan ton), 蚵仔煎 (oyster what) etc. 蚵仔煎 is too chewy, 炸雞排 is too oily, skin n meat doesn't stick together as a whole, quite oily, still preferred them from singapore. BUT 紅油抄手 was nice! Delicious although it's a little spicy but i can still take it. It was raining and we thought 士林夜市 was just this portion. Forgot to bring out our umbrella. After waiting inside to avoid the rain, we decided to get out to explore...then explored the street in front. Realised we missed a big portion. Hiding under a new bought umbrella was difficult to shop after all.. hai..wasted one night. We could have shopped more if we knew.

We went to that famous 24 hrs 誠品書店 Eslite bookstore. Almost like our Kino kuniya but as more shops as Popular bookstores...where u can see it everywhere. Bought a number of magazines...er it will definately add weight to my luggage..and eventually add weight to my bag while shopping first. 好重啊﹗文杰不在我身邊幫我提包包。

Stopped at Hello kitty restaurant to have lunch! Lots of lots of pictures. Dishes are turning cold when we start to eat them. hehe~

Went to 中華東路 to shop, heard it's a "must go" place. With all the famous shops over there..ya its nice but they are all damn expensive shops. Nice deco in shops, regardless whether its indoor or outdoor but the things are expensive.. i rather come back singapore to buy instead of wasting my luggage storage. Walked very long to search for jay chou's shops. Tiring keeping n taking out umbrella all the time. Hate the bad weather. So cold~

1st Jay's shop we went. Heard jay had partnership with a friend but after that he left the partnership because he realised they have different tastes and styles.. that was what i read from mag.

This is Jay's current shop..which has no identity of his presence. There's more pictures of him inside. Things are rather expensive.

It was pouring and we were too tired to further our shopping at zhong xiao, things are expensive even though their interior is nice. So took cab back to hotel for a rest.

In the end we ordered her 麻辣臭豆腐.. with free 鸭血糕 (duck blood) which we don really fancy.. only Isabella tried it.

Canon IXUS 100 IS..

Latest Canon camera with 12.1 mega pixels, 3x optical zoom, image stabiliser, face detection, scene detection, HD movies recording..
and most importantly it is super slim and small
and gorgeously RED in colour.

This is the 1st time i see something really nice in Canon. I can say that in terms of quality in pictures and functions, they are still the best among those digital cameras out there. The colours are richer, better in contrast. I've tried many other digital cameras but i still find Canon has a better quality.

I always think that i would rather get a camera with better quality in pic than a better looking camera so i bought my 1st digital camera Canon IXUS 700 which cost me a bomb, the price of a semi pro camera, 8 mega pix (rather high at that point of time), bulky and metalic silver, common colour but the pictures are always better. The only shitty part of it is..it doesn't comes with a image stabilizer, no face detection, small LCD screen, and last of all...the flash is way too bright and i only know how to master it, adjust to a comfortable mode after 2 yrs.

They always come out with stylish metallic new cameras yet old fashion and bulky, forgetting about the aesthetics. I'm glad that they've finally thought over it, target younger audiences with nicer cameras. I can test out the functions n quality in VIVO when the new cameras arrive in Singapore in April at SGD469. I hope it doesn't disappoint me.

Actually spotted it while watching variety shows on Tudou.. saw Mo wen wei endorsing Canon new cameras advertisement image on the background.

My clock stops working one after another every 2 weeks.
Is this a sign?

1 of my alarm clocks ran out of battery last week so i have to replace battery immediately because this clock is essential to my daily life, it has the loudest alarm. And then my watch stopped because of battery too.. I've replaced the battery after 1 week. Then now my small alarm clock ran out of battery as well.

So strange~ Time is really running out?

I am taking my license through the school. I finally passed my evaluation.. 100% passed in 12 mins for the 2nd time..opps..ya 2nd time, but its still amazing alright! Should have taken 2 practises before taking the 1st evaluation. Now i'm waiting for the final basic theory test which falls on the day before my flight to Taipei.. 15th of April. Hope i can still remember the questions by then.. hoping i can get 100% passes again.. i knew it might not be possible.

Anxious to start on my PDL...my practical.JIA YOU!

My sis went down to open letterbox and came back and asked me,

Few secs later, i realised.. "how you know?".

She handed me a postcard which Cafren sent from Japan. I thought it will look very flowery since its from japan and also her style, in fact it was a rather surprise to receive this retro card, very rinn.. i thought i could send you a postcard too but u wrote your local address on it instead. Nevermind, i shall send to you when i go on my holidays. Really thanks! I like it. Very heartwarming.

Dad went China for work and Mum went malaysia to take care of my 2nd sister in law after her child birth. We were left in singapore with no lunches n dinners for months. Wash clothes? Iron clothes? Sweeping and mopping the floor? Water the plants? and last of all, the most important.. food. I can't help sighing when it comes to dinner. What shall i eat tonight? Da bao? Again?

It's really amazing that Mum could think of what to cook everyday. It's a pain to think of that everyday.. especially for me.

Finally fixed my blog, can only see the errors on safari browser. Now its clear...hopefully everyone can see the things in place when using their own internet browser.

Sick.. might be due to the bad weather recently or i might have got it from ppl in the office. Realised friends and colleagues are falling sick one by one, not even by seeing them in person. Heavy flu, bad cough, bad headache. Sneezing every few hours... continuous coughing every few hrs...when in bed, couldn't sleep well.

And now... i could feel an ulcer popping out from my upper lips..ouch. probably got it from that heaty 1000mg of active vitamin C that i drank in the office ytd.. trying to prevent the sickness from coming. Yet in the end, not only the sickness was not avoided, i have more things to worry about.

After meeting up for dinner at ang mo kio, went to sin ming for prawning~ 1st time but donno whether it's going to be the last also.

Quite fun prawning and the sense of acheiving something when u manage to hook up something, but it's so cruel to cook them on the spot after seeing them struggle, been BBQ lively.

Gotcha! Caught u in the act of torturing the poor prawns but fortunately, u made it fast, or else it will be really cruel seeing them struggling in pain. U finished it fast and did a clean job.
Felt sinful?
He said he will not eat prawns after that night, rubbish, i see him finishing the plate of prawn fritters man..haha i don dare to eat the head of the prawns...so scary. I don dare to look at the meet of a crab even though they are fried..

Rinn has developed a phobia of going prawning now.. but i guess she will still enjoy eating prawns~

I don remember misplacing them somewhere, i can't see them lying around too. They just went missing when i decided to use them again. How strange... Strawberry tofu operation in progress

My neighbour is an evil gum chewer, strawberry tofu is undergoing major operation today. Last night she had an accident fall from my top of my cabinet because of the fatal push from "miss mouthwash" which caused her head to be three quarter ripped off. Our hearts ached.. ouch a gift from my group members. Everything happened on the eve so we decided to operate her on the day we come back from our holidays.

Bought epoxy glue to save her head. Believing in her. After that major operation, Doctor clinton said the operation was successful but afraid she might not be able to move her head in future. We still have faith in her, 10 mins after her operation, i moved her head, left to right and right to left, cut the sticky glue that was sticked in between the joints, gave her physiotherapy, hoping she can recover asap.

Thankfully, we managed to turn her head around but i'm afraid she can't fall for the 2nd time... it will be real serious, i don wish to see her getting relapse. She is
slowly recovering with plenty of rest and proper physiotherapy now. So now i've moved her house onto the ground beside the big plant. This will keep her safe for the moment, avoid the busy environment. We've also asked miss mouthwash to pay for the necessary medical and surgery fees.

Never celebrate mid autumn festival for years.. seems like we r back to our childhood. Gathered at bishan junction 8, had dinner and walked to cafren's house void deck. Eating mooncake, drinking oolong tea, playing haha...仙女棒, and lanterns.

Moon~ cake.. is difficult to do, especially for K.. we've tried that 4 letter word but it was not obvious.

Had dinner with cafren & co at Din Tai Fung on my birthday eve. Vivian left and Rinn joined us after dinner. Went K-ing at party world. Rinn cut her hair, she looks fresher n slimmer. Nice~ Don look as lum nua.

Sang halfway, rinn and cafren went toilet for very long. After that, a stranger came into the room with the bdae cake. He came in and asked anyone ordered a cake?? Haha. Cafren and rinn actually asked a passer by to carry the cake into the room, to give me a surprise cos it will the same old thing if they were to walk in on their own. I thought the guy is the manager or waiter of party world with no uniform... Haha

Thank you Girls!.. and guys - Roger and also the stranger~.. so poor thing to kena this from the 2 girls. Sway to meet them, Rinn even said he looks like waiter in front of him.

Actual day

Had dinner at Dan Ryan and watched WALL-E. Nice~. It's more than just an animation. Meaningful.

Saw Mr Monopoly at Takashimaya...looks funny when he can't move on his own. His guide is behind him.

Wen jie bought me a pair of white ear phones that i wanted. Gave me 2 weeks ago, an advance present.

Belated bdae

Michael said he will help me buy that big Strawberry Gummy Tofu on Sat since he's staying near the main office. Sat is my bdae so i can only go on Sun but afraid the stocks might be finished by then. So when i'm outside i smsed mike to check whether he has forgotten to buy den i have to godown on sun but he nv reply. Then late night, i called him again.. nv pick up also. Thinking maybe i should go down on sun and buy it. If mike has already bought it den i can sell mine to Rinn but mike called me back at midnight, told me he bought. Ok... 终算可以放心了. Our group told him to bring his walle to work on monday so asked him to bring my tofu on tues cos its very big, its going to be quite troublesome for him to bring both toys to work. So monday went to work, played with his walle.

Clinton asked me whether i got my Tofu, i said yes but i can only see it tml. So are u sad, cannot see it today? Ok la... its too heavy for mike to bring today.

And we continue doing our work. After that i went to grab some water, when i walk back, saw mike staring at me, i ask him why, acting suspiciously den saw marvin passing something to boon fong. Never really suspected anything cos this yr's Accidentally revealed the head of a blank Tofu, asked them to let me see, don let..
so guessed it must be a small gift for me, they are passing around to get signatures and messages written on teh blank tofu. Small gift but i quite like it. Thought this yr they won't be getting me anything, can't be getting thing for me every yr.
This yr was a quiet one.

Placed on my desk so that i can see it everyday. Look so cute sitting on top of my miniature locker. After a while, i went to play with WALLE, controlling him to walk around. Clinton and Mike asked me to go back to my seat, ask me not to play anymore. So i quietly walked back to me seat....

i realised i can't take photo from far distance, i look ugly. Especially when i'm using other ppl's camera other than my Canon camera.

And i found this big box on my chair! Miss Strawberry Gummy Tofu! Guess what, my group members bought the tofu for me instead of me paying for it. NICE~ I thought the gift is only that small little white blank tofu... yuan lai that blank tofu is just a "3D" birthday card for me. YEAH!

Natsu Matsuri 2008

Went all the way to changi japanese primary school for natsu matsuri. Pouring the whole day, so sway. Went to orchard to find yukiko to teach us how to wear yukata but she said it's impossible so went home doll up and came back to her at 5 plus, late. Her new restaurant is small but quite nice and cosy.

Thanks to yukiko san and karen jie, we can wear yukata on that day. Meet up with cafren and prisillia in the school. Together we explored the place. Saw stephanie and lots of japanese/chinese wearing yukata. Once we left the place, we look so odd in yukata.. So tight!

Stayed overnight at sharon's place. Feel so comfortable untieing the obi and yukata. Once sharon took off her obi, she let out a huge breath. Haaa... ~phew

Bintan trip' 08

Another trip after 9 mths since we went Batam the other time. We are going Bintan this time! Vivian back out so we decided to let go the Indra Maya Villa since its going to be more expensive with just the 4 of us. There goes my private swimming pool~

It's always fun with crazy Rinn around. Chui~ All the way. Never bring any makeup or nice clothes for the trip, ready to be chui in that entire trip. She put on her crazy so call- "sunglasses" to cover up when taking photos, almost all of the them.

Got her into trouble by lending her my pink pen to fill up her white card, in the end was stopped by the custom ppl. Haha! sorry didn't noe we are not allowed to use pink pen. Busy talking whenever and everywhere, even in the bus when the guide was talking about things to take note, she was talking out loud, almost same volume as the guide, drowning his words. Was scolded by miss cafren for not paying attention to the instructions. Haha poor Rinn~

1st day

Unpacking things from here n there, while waiting to check-in to our room just nx door.. Called for room service, gobbled on the food placed in front of us like we've not eaten for 2 days.

Condition of miss cafren and rinn's room wasn't very good. First, the TV isn't working fine, secondly, no towels were found in the room, thirdly, the water coming out from the tap was ORANGE! And it did not only happen in their room, so do we! Except for the TV was fine.

went out for that summer sun tanning but too bad the sun was about to go down by the time we finished dolling up.. reaching evening but nice beach. Water was cleaner than Sentosa. Sand was very fine and smooth, nice~

Took lots of pictures by the beach. Jumped and captured shots but whenever rinn holds the camera, it was a failure, can't seems to catch her tempo.. in the end all the photos that she took were just standing poses when we've already landed on the ground..

Funny pix when we jumped together with rinn.. we can laugh no matter how many times we look at these pics. Damn funny! Rinn has her UNIQUE ways of jumping.

Rinn has phobia of swimming in deep pool. So whenever we're stepping into another colour of floor area, she would grab our arms, doesn't dare to walk in the pool further. Usually i walked off and leave her alone in that shallow area.. haha! Although we donno how to swim but we are still able to walk tip toed to the bar counter located in the middle of the pool. Cool! So whenever we wanna buy drinks from there, we have to swim over to the pool bar counter, grab our drinks and lift them up high above our chest area.. all the way over to another side of the pool... balancing, not letting the drinks drop into the pool.

Chilled till night, went back get changed and headed to the poolside restaurant for dinner. Miss cafren doesn't noe what we've planned for her.

Ordered the cake to be delivered at bintan 10.30pm, that's the latest time they could deliver. Plan nearly ruinned cos she wanted to take shower immediately. Anyway, we managed to give her the surprise after she came out from shower.... when she's putting her mask~ Hahaha! Oopps..~ Everyone bath already except me.. Dirty girl~

2nd day

An hour of Kayak-ing and followed by an hour of sun tanning near the pool..oh~

Had a full body spa massage in our own room...wah.. but not as nice as the one we had in Batam last time. After massage we went to eat korean cuisine.

It's time to sleep... too tired. I fell asleep while talking on the phone with wen jie.. i didn't noe until he told me that he was shouting on the phone to wake me up.. and i didn't answer for very long. Hehehe~

Last day

Had our breakfast at the same place again...We have FREE breakfast vouchers for the trip.

Pale~

The strangest thing during our trip was... being asked to sit at the exact same table throughout the whole trip for breakfast.. of all the available tables in the restaurant, different waitresses gave us the same table. So strange. Feel like talking the same thing over and over again, just like what we said the day before and the day before. 3 times same table~

I lost my favourite rubber band today!! Arh.. it hurts me! It was with me all this while, for soooo long. Haha.. I only came to realise it after i took a shower, went back to the changing room and toilet to find...it was gone! Why would ppl wanna take my rubber band!! Shit man!

I'm going to buy and make another rubber band just like my old one. Hmmph*

By the way, i lost the pass to Studio B too..hehe.. luckily no one realised it. Why is this happening today. Lost 2 things in a day.. what.. today is a "Things to be lost" day? Luckily not something very expensive.

I know it sounds corny but maybe it's really coincedence. It happens all the time, and it's alot of times.

Called or sms the person the same time as he is? Don't mention that you're already in the conversation but what i'm saying is... in the middle of the day when u felt like smsing, just before u press send, u heard your message tone ringing. After u send it, u checked ur inbox and he's the same person u just wrote sms to.

Not only this, you can see him in the same train despite both of u were late for the date, you didn't tell him what time u will reach and didn't arrange to meet in the train too. When I saw his sms, "i've reached" and i am 1 stop before my destination, a very strong sense that he is taking the same train as me, and he might be lying, he could be telling me that he has reached but actually he is still in this train, thinking that i donno. I walked from 1 cabin to 1 cabin, searching for the familiar face and there he is! Such coincedence. And this has happened lots of time.

I recalled using my hse phone to call his hp while at another side, my hp is ringing. How strange.. sounds as if i was calling to my own hp. They rang at the same time. We are both using our hse phone to call each other's hp. So it happened the same way on his side, he called and his hp is ringing as well. We did not plan this and it was middle of the day when we didn't talk before that. Coincedence~ Maybe

I've been thinking of creating a website for my port folio, a way to let my employer see my work through the net, or probably a more professional way to show my port folio rather than printing them out like what we did in school back then. I've already thought of how to do it, in terms of background, look n feel of the website. To be exact, i wanted a very graphical black background and it must be this backgrd and no others cos i've seen it on the net and i'm going to download it after i created the web, not so soon but it's going to be in the future, for my plans. I've not told anyone about this. Not even wen jie.. Arr.. now everyone knows after i wrote here.

So wen jie has been mumbling about his blog everyday, every hour, and i mean it, EVERY HOUR! Talking about the new watches uploaded, new stuff, whatever G shock is nice and so on.. So today, i went online to check out his blog again..er ya i've done it few days ago but he has been nagging me to follow up the updates if possible. So i went in.. and i found out he changed his background!... AND it was the exact background i wanted for my web!! I was shocked! He don even noe i wanted to create a web actually, not even the background.

So feeling anxious, i took my hp and start typing what i wanna say abt the backgrd.. while typing halfway, i heard my message tone ringing.. After i pressed send, i found his name on my inbox and it's him AGAIN! The strange thing is we didn't sms each other earlier in the day. Such coincedence. Unbelievable!

Went fast and furious shopping with ai lin at raffles city. Really fast cos we got to rush for the NDP rehearsal at marina which we were supposed to be seated at 4.45pm. Bought FCUK t-shirt.. wah so expensive, heartache but i really like, very fitting. This shall be the last expensive t-shirt i'll buy in future. Never spend so much for a normal t-shirt before.

Went marina for the parade for the 1st time, we da bao macdonald there to eat, never had anything for the whole day.. so hungry! And we are not the only ones who are hungry too, the father sitting beside me actually da bao PRATA! He folded hs prata and dipped it into a bag of curry. Saw ppl eating XXL crispy chicken, fruit tarts.. Everybody brought food along.

Went to the toy fair at suntec with miss cafren. Saw many ppl queueing up to let the japanese tofu artist draw on their blank tofu on the spot, guess the blank tofu must have cost alot.

These are the smelly tofus , i guess they are not from the same artist. Very cute aren't they? Mr.臭豆腐。

Walked 1 round and i'm still thinking abt the blank tofu, really wanna find out, curious to see how much, how expensive will it cost.

So we figured out our way, where to get it but unfortunately, the guys are packing up at the redemption counter.. Ar...sad we are late....we wasted time walking around without realising this was the counter to get the FREE blank tofu.. ended at 3pm, we are late for a few mins. Went to ask the young guy abt the blank tofu to reconfirm that we are left with the disapointed news.. and yes it was over he said~ See him keep smiling all the way ..strange~ As we were walking away, cafren said he must have left some behind, maybe we will get it if we go back n sai nai. Then we went back, looking very keen the get the tofu, asked him whether still can come here to queue up on sunday.. Again he said nope.. it will be other toys for tomorrow, looking disappointed, i finally gave up so we walked off. Cafren stll insist that he has it, just that he is keeping it. Nvm, maybe he really doesn't has it.

10 steps after we left the counter, when we were still talking abt it, he actually came over to us. He said actually he has it but there's only one left. So cafren gave it to me. We waited for the queue to start again at 4.30pm..ar... we are going to be late for the yoga class at 4.45pm.. My Fav Essential dance!!~.. Nvm.. coming here to let the artist draw my tofu is more worth it, once in a lifetime. Kawaii~

5th anniversary

Every yr got to think of a new way to celebrate our anniversaries. This time he came out with a DIY BBQ at east coast. We bought mini bbq and other food from Giant/Carrefour. Donno how much we spent, it might be just as expensive as eating at waraku, but that doesn't matter, as long as we enjoyed it and its somehow meaningful and special, different from usual days.

Usually i don bbq when we are in a grp but now got to 亲自下手 since is only the 2 of us. So sway, it was pouring heavily at noon. Met up in the evening.. shopped at supermarket to get food. Still drizzling when we arrived at east coast. Dirty water splashing on my ankles, sand going onto my slippers. Can't find any shelter. He insisted to go put our mat on the open sand area. I nag nag nag for mins to share shelter with stranger so that we can at least avoid the rain, cleaner also but he refused. Since the rain starts to start, i kept quiet.

Anyway, we remained sitting at the same place, trying hard to set the charcoals on fire.. i think we spent more than 20 mins just to get everything started.. it didn't happen as what the instructions say (20mins). When the fire finally started, the rain comes.. drizzling. Although it was not very bad, we decided to go back to the shelter, our last resort. Lastly we could start everything, grilling satay was the best i find. Nice n easy.

He keep thinking the chicken wings aren't cooked so he placed them back...er 4 to 5 times already? Until they are badly burnt on the surface. We bought a little too much food cos we thought it might not be enough for us.. in the end, we can't finish. So Full~~ Ate too much fried stuff.

Received quite a number of good news lately!

We won pitches and our grp is doing 4-5 confirm campaigns, thats a good sign for the company, money rolling in but that also means stress are rolling in to our grp too.

And also... i had an increment! Finally, 1st digit changed. I waited so long for the day to come. Now this increment can help in my monthly expenses. Especially for my nafa sch fees and my yoga lessons which will start to activate at the end of next month.

Rinn bought me a hello kitty mouse pad when i was in need of it after getting a hello kitty mouse from my sister. So happy that i've both of them.

Just when i plugged in the mouse.. realised the light sensor isn't working except for the clicks n scroll. SAD!!~ The hello kitty push cart was near my hse few days ago and they have moved to another place. My sis handed me the card so that i can find them to buy other stuffs nx time but unfortunately i think the receipt n the box was thrown away by my mum who always like to do that at home. So i can't bring back to exchange u see. This mouse cost my sister 12 bucks leh...don wanna waste her $$ yet cannot use the mouse! very Pek CEK! So disappointed man! 希望越高﹐失望越大。 Happy for nothing.
